The Kingsleigh Inn has eight guest rooms (seven guest rooms and one guest suite), all with ensuite private baths, individually controlled A/C and heat (to ensure your personal "perfect" temperature), ceiling fans, and several have panoramic harbor views and private decks. Each room is tastefully decorated with its own distinct personality, charm and comfort. Colorful and coordinating wall coverings and luxurious bedding all blend seamlessly with traditional and period furnishings and many thoughtful touches that provide a warm welcome for our guests and the perfect "home base" for adventures in the park.

The Penthouse Turret Suite also features a fireplace, mini fridge, flat screen TV and DVD Player along with the most expansive view of the harbor. Our guests enjoy the amenities of a small hotel, the atmosphere of an elegant inn and the charm and hospitality of a well kept home.

For that special getaway, we have a secluded third-floor, three room Turret Suite that offers not only space (nearly 800 square feet), but incredible panoramic harbor views from the private deck off the Turret. A large telescope on a tripod will satisfy any stargazing or boat watching desires. A living room with a sofa, television, DVD player, a very large private bathroom with a combination tub/shower and a separate bedroom with hardwood floors, area rugs, individual climate control, mini fridge, a four poster hand carved plantation king sized bed and gas fireplace make this a superb hideaway. The Turret Suite is elegantly decorated with rich fabrics in shades of burgundy, sage, gold and cream with accents of black and playful fringe. Seeing the blazing fire and the harbor at the same time from the privacy of your own bed is truly unique.

The Chelsea queen bedroom with lots of bright white bedding complimented by bright blue and white quilt and pillows has a wardrobe, small bench and view of the harbor from the bed out the glass door and windows. Located on the second floor, The Chelsea is one of our most popular guest rooms. It is a small, charming and bright sun-filled room with a commanding view of the harbor. Enjoy tea or coffee during sunrise over the harbor from your large, private deck while sitting on the white Adirondack chairs.  You will enjoy morning and afternoon sun on The Chelsea's deck.

It is appointed with a tall, queen size antique iron bed, layers of soft bedding, a small upholstered bench, built-in armoire, ceiling fan, individual climate control and a small private bathroom with shower. There is a cottage at the beach feel using a fun mix of patterns in white, various shades of blue and violet with ivory Berber carpet.

Located on the second floor, The Abbott is a bright front corner guest room and has a view toward the harbor and toward the center of town. It is appointed with a tall, queen size sleigh bed, matching bookcase for storing personal items, a garment rack, layers of soft bedding, an upholstered loveseat, cottage style red wooden bench/table, ceiling fan, individual climate control and a private bathroom with shower.

The Abbott is decorated in beautiful florals in various patterns and shades of ivory, pink, red, burgundy, slate blue and taupe with ivory Berber carpet. The Abbott gets some morning sun but mostly afternoon sun on the private deck to enjoy our harbor view.

Located on the second floor, The Hawthorne is another popular and charming guest room with its private deck overlooking the harbor with partial harbor views. Seeing sunrise over the water without getting out of bed is something that makes this room so special.

Appointed with a queen size bed, small antique dresser, garment rack, layers of soft bedding, a small upholstered chair, ceiling fan, individual climate control and a private bathroom with shower. This guest room has a romantic French country feel with beautiful Toile & striped wallcoverings in shades of blue and white with ivory Berber carpet. You will enjoy mostly morning sun on The Hawthorne's deck.

Located on the first floor away from the inn's common living rooms and situated facing the back harbor side of the inn, the Lyndhurst offers bright morning sun and a beautiful pastoral view dotted with small houses and beautiful trees.

This very private, quiet and spacious guest room is appointed with a substantial antique iron king size bed, antique dresser, loveseat, garment rack, ceiling fan, individual climate control and a private bathroom with shower. There is also a small window in the bathroom. The Lyndhurst is decorated in hues of soft ivory, sage and coral with ivory Berber carpet.

Located on the first floor away from the inn's common living rooms and facing the back (harbor side) of the inn, The Wellington is another of our quiet and spacious guest rooms and offers bright morning sun and the same beautiful view as the Lyndhurst. This comfortable and private guest room is appointed with a solid brass king size Sleigh bed hand finished in marbled black and russet  with soft golden highlights, layers of soft bedding, an antique dresser, garment rack, a cozy seating area featuring two very comfortable leather chairs by the window (great for reading), ceiling fan, individual climate control and private bathroom with shower.

The Wellington has a romantic floral and Toile motif in hues of Williamsburg blue, white, pink and burgundy with ivory Berber carpet.

Located on the second floor, The Victoria is a comfortable guest room with soft, warm lighting. It is situated facing the village of Southwest Harbor. It is appointed with a substantial king size bed with layers of soft bedding, a small dresser, garment rack, two very comfortable leather chairs, ceiling fan, individual climate control and a private bathroom with shower.  The Victoria has a romantic cottage feel with its beautiful scrollwork in the wallcovering and coordinating bedding. The colors are soft with soothing hues of dusty rose, sage green and cream with ivory Berber carpet.

Located on the second floor, The Waverley is a small but charming guest room. It is situated facing the village of Southwest Harbor. It is furnished with a queen bed, layers of beautiful soft bedding, a pine armoire, a small wicker chair, ceiling fan, individual climate control and a bright private bathroom with shower and small window.

The Waverley is decorated using a mix of florals and stripes in shades of teal blue, white, ivory and coral with ivory Berber carpet. There is a window in the room as well as in the bathroom.
